What is the Rock Star Red?

At Alexandria Nicole Cellars, Rock Star Red is more than just a wine, it’s a true collaboration with industry legends. Each year, our team nominates standout individuals from across the wine world, people who are shaping, supporting, and elevating the industry. From chefs and sommeliers to writers and tastemakers, this wine is a tribute to those making an impact behind the scenes.

This label was created to shine a light on the many who support what we do, yet often go unrecognized.

The blend itself is crafted in a style inspired by what these industry “rock stars” are loving, offering a playful and meaningful way to celebrate the community that makes it all possible.

One of the most rewarding parts of the Rock Star Red program is the opportunity to give back. Through our “Charity of Choice” initiative, which runs alongside each of our three annual Wine Club releases, we donate a custom-etched 3L bottle of Rock Star Red to support causes that matter most to our members. By nominating organizations close to their hearts, our community helps us extend that impact even further, sharing the love in a way that reaches well beyond the glass.

Should you choose to accept your invitation to become an ANC Rock Star, get ready for your name to take center stage, featured on every bottle of the release you help bring to life.

You’ll join us at our Estate Vineyard and Winery for a hands-on blending experience, where you’ll help craft the final wine alongside our team. Once your blend is complete, we’ll capture your signature for the label, adding your personal mark to every bottle.

We’re excited to announce that Kristin Ackerman Bacon, Founder and CEO/Publisher of Sip Magazine, has been named our Rock Star for the upcoming May release of our 2023 Rock Star Red!

Kristin partnered with ANC to help craft this special blend, lending not only her name to the label, but also her palate to the process.
