Alexandria Nicole Cellars today announced that they were excited to learn that they had been selected as the 2011 Washington Winery of the Year in the Spring 2011 edition of Wine Press Northwest.

When asked about this accomplishment  CEO and Winemaker Jarrod Boyle gave kudos to the great group of people who they have the privilege to work alongside.  “It’s a group effort.  We’re truly blessed to be able to work with a fabulous group of people who continue to inspire us”  and then with a smile he adds “they make it fun”.

Boyle works hard to create world class wines as well as an incredible experience in their tasting rooms and wine clubs and now 10 years later it appears all the hard work is beginning to pay off.  Last year alone Alexandria Nicole had 9 wines that scored over 90pts in the Wine Spectator and Wine and Spirits publications as well as 5 Gold medals and 2 Double Gold’s in area completions.  This does not include a number of Outstanding and Excellent reviews from the Wine Press Northwest.  “I’m very excited about the great scores we’ve been receiving but even more happy about our continued Wine Club growth.   The Wine Club is the heart of ANC and in these tough times it humbling to see so much support”.

Known for its strong desire to show wine club members the “ultimate wine experience,” Alexandria Nicole Cellars has implemented a host of Wine Club perks including hidden doors at each tasting room, a Charity of Choice program that has donated to over 30 charities selected by their members, a VIP Program, which provides wine club members with exclusive discounts and benefits at select businesses across Washington State, “Glamping” (glamorous-camping) at Destiny Ridge Vineyard, as well as a number of other exciting ways for their Wine Club members to enjoy themselves.

It’s almost tip off time!

On March 13 brackets you can download the team brackets or you can pick up a copy at either tasting room location.

To participate all you need to do is: 1.) Print off brackets and 2.) Complete (fully) 3.) Turn back in to whichever tasting room team you wish to join (Prosser or Woodinville).  Brackets can also be faxed to the Prosser tasting room @ 509.786.3469.  All faxed applications will be placed on the Prosser team.  Or scan and email brackets to Team West or Team East.

It’s East VS West baby. Winner of ANC March Madness will win a little wine and bragging rights of course.  No cost to join in the fun.

We will post all brackets and plan to show as many of the games as possible at both tasting rooms so that you can come and cheer on your favorite team from the tasting rooms.
